Harbor View with Hydrangeas Series Sneak Peak!

Hello and happy weekend everyone! It is Valentine’s weekend and I hope you are having a wonderful one. My husband and I have been married for almost twenty years so we usually do not do too much for Valentine’s Day. I do love fresh flowers and chocolate though:). What about you?

I hope your February has been going well. We had a lot of snow and very cold weather for all of January and the beginning of February. Luckily it seems to be warming up a bit here in Ohio. The grass is finally starting to peak out and now I have major spring fever. I can’t wait to see the flowers starting to bloom and the grass turn greener (right now it is a gross shade of brown- yuck!) I guess the bite of winter makes the arrival of spring all the sweeter. I do enjoy the quietness of winter and being able to “hibernate” but I am getting a bit stir-crazy! Luckily, I have been working on a new collection which has made being indoors much more enjoyable.

The collection is for the KP Art Collective and will include 6 new original paintings on Saturday February 28th. I titled the series, Harbor View with Hydrangeas. The paintings are all inspired by my love of sailing and the dreamy beauty of hydrangeas. Every summer on the island, the charming cottages around me have the best hydrangeas gardens. They really inspire me and bring me so much joy to paint. Here is a sneak peak of some of the art that will be coming soon and I hope you love it!

I have been working hard in the studio on six new original paintings for the Harbor View with Hydrangeas series. There are two 30 x 40 paintings (seen in this photo) that I am especially excited for! They are such statement pieces.

A close up section of one of my new paintings. You can really see the colors and textures in this picture.

Love the colors in this 30 x 40 painting seen here. The whites, blues and greens are my absolute favorite!

There will be three 12 x 12 canvases similar to this one. These are wonderful on a shelf or part of a gallery wall.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend! If you are interested in any of these paintings you can reach out to me or KP Art Collective for info.

XO
