The soft palette of coastal blues and whites, natural textures, and that easy seaside elegance that instantly makes a home feel calm and inviting. I recently had the joy of creating a custom coastal painting for Meg Young, founder of Cailini Coastal, for her stunning Nantucket beach house, which was recently featured on the incredible interior design show, Homeworthy.

Meg and I have worked together since 2020, right when she was launching Cailini Coastal. I was lucky enough to be one of the first artists she collaborated with, and since then, I’ve admired her incredible online store filled with unique and stunning curated coastal finds.

When Meg reached out about commissioning a painting for her Nantucket home, I knew it would be something special. Nantucket is her happy place and I was so excited to create an artwork for her gorgeous home. The final painting features white sailboats drifting near the Brant Point Lighthouse, framed by lush blue hydrangeas in full bloom. The palette of soft sky blues, crisp whites, and sea-glass greens ties perfectly into her coastal home decor, echoing the refined, relaxed charm of New England coastal living.

Seeing the piece displayed in her Nantucket dining room surrounded by gorgeous Cailini Coastal accessories was a dream come true. I feel so grateful to have my artwork live in such an elegant and stylish Nantucket home.
