New Impressionist Ohio Landscape Painting Series

Happy Sunday friends! I have been working hard the past couple of weeks on a new series of paintings. The ones shown here are based on the beautiful local country fields I see around here in Ohio.

Especially in the summer and fall, there are so many lush greens and vivid colors in the fields, sky and the trees. I try to showcase my emotional reaction to what I see and create paintings that portray my love for my subject and for color, pattern, shapes and lines.
