Hello! I hope you have been having an amazing October! Mine has been pretty great and I just can’t get over this magical, perfect Ohio fall weather! As I am typing this post, it is 67 degrees and sunny. The absolute best if you ask me:). I love summer but I am really loving fall this year. The weather, the fall decorating, the delicious pumpkin- spiced lattes and pastries, all of it makes me so happy. I wanted to share a couple of fun fall island updates with you and also a holiday release that will drop on November 7th on the KP Art Collective. So many exciting things to share!

The colors here on the island are looking gorgeous! Sugar Island, an island across from “our island” on Lake Erie has been showing off all of its colors recently. I adore seeing it change each season and the sunsets have been incredible as well.

At the end of September and beginning of October I did see a regatta out on Lake Erie and I got a bunch of pictures. It is inspiring my newest release for KP Art Collective’s holiday show releasing November 7th. Seeing all of the colorful sailboats out on the lake always inspires me and I am constantly painting them, trying to capture the beauty of them on the sparkling lake. Always a huge inspiration for all of my sailboat paintings.

I painted a lot of these paintings for the KP Art release here at our island house. I bring my paint and canvases with me each weekend and spend lots of time painting. I am so inspired here! Check out some of our island house updates below. We have a couple exciting new additions to the home!

Our dining room and living room. Our island home is not huge but it is very cozy:). Do you notice my hydrangeas paintings on the wall? Also, I love the Cailini Coastal Oars by the dining room table. They are great statement pieces!

Finally I wanted to share my latest commission that went to Connecticut. This is a 30 x 40 blue hydrangeas painting and it is framed in one of my husband’s amazing handmade frames. I loved painting it so much!
