Why hello there! Happy July! It is actually almost August which is pure craziness to me. This summer has been a whirlwind of fun at the island. August means school starting soon which means we will only be able to be at the island on weekends. We will be ok…I think…lol. I feel lucky enough to have been able to stay at our island house for a couple of weeks at a time with my girls. My husband comes on weekends and we have been working most of the time fixing up the home to give it character and make it feel homey. It is a new build so it really needed some extra TLC to give it a more cozy look inside. I promise to share some photos in the next post. I am waiting on a couple of items before I post some pictures so stay tuned:). Anyways ,enough about all of that- I would love to chat with you about my new collection of sunset paintings. So excited about these new original sunset paintings available in my shop.

These sunset paintings were created from the many photos I have taken from my parent’s island house on Lake Erie. They live down the street from us on the island and we love to go their house almost every sunset that we can. Their view is incredible and I am always amazed at how each sunset looks unique and different each night. My dad’s advice to me is to “Never take for granted a sunset.” I must agree-each sunset is magical!

So here are some of my paintings inspired by the incredible sunsets over Lake Erie. I hope these paintings bring feelings of warmth, joy and peace. Thanks for checking them out!
